Pengerang Refining Company Sdn Bhd and Pengerang Petrochemical Sdn Bhd (collectively known as PRefChem) are two joint ventures formed from the strategic alliance of two of the world’s largest and most successful national oil companies -- Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), the national oil company of Malaysia, and Saudi Aramco, the national oil company of Saudi Arabia.
PrefChem has been alerted to the unauthorised solicitation of business by certain parties fraudulently representing themselves as the joint venture company between PETRONAS and Saudi Aramco.
Please be advised that PRefChem does not appoint any third party individuals or companies or firms as representative(s), agent(s) or middlemen to represent, act, negotiate or conduct on behalf any business or contracts related to our refining and petrochemical plants in Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC), Pengerang, Johor. All advertisements, invitation to participate in business or contracts for PRefChem are and will be carried through the joint venture companies, namely Pengerang Refining Company Sdn Bhd (PRefChem Refining) and Pengerang Petrochemical Company Sdn Bhd (PRefChem Petrochemical).
PRefChem views acts of misrepresentation, fraudulent business practice and other irregularities in business dealings very seriously. Such acts may be subjected to investigation, legal action and prosecution by the relevant authorities.
